If you want to make some money, there is one important thing that you need. Can you guess what that thing is? It is quite simple, it is an idea. In this article, I will be covering some simple ideas to make money, they are things that you can do with little to no money.
Before we start, I just want to make one thing extremely clear. To make money – you do not need a unique idea. Many people think, oh, here is this great idea, they look into it further and realize that somebody else is already doing it. Well guess what, just because somebody else is already doing it does not make it a bad idea. In fact, if somebody else is doing it, then generally speaking you can assume that it is a good idea.
Do not let uniqueness hold you back.
So what are these ideas to make money? They are all centered around the idea of doing odd jobs, as these are an easy way to make some extra cash. Let me go through them one by one:
Start Walking Dogs: yes, I know a dog walker, really? As I have said, some of the best ideas are ideas that people are already doing. Why walk dogs, well 40% of Americans own a dog and further, 90% of them realize that they do not have enough time to adequately walk their dog.
That means there is a huge market for dog walking. So lets pretend that you walk 50 dogs a week, for 10 dollars an hour, that is $500 a week all from walking dogs. If you start getting more dogs to walk, then you start making more money. The best part is these are on-going contracts, so once you get somebody to hire you, they hire you for a very long time, so you do not need to actively market your product.
I remember reading an article of a woman that at the age of 22 became millionaire all by starting here own dog walking business. Obviously, your results may differ, but you can understand the money that is involved.
Gardening: The majority of Americans own a garden right? If you were to ask people what is the most annoying task to do around the home, cleaning, cooking and gardening are usually the top 3 answer. That being said, obviously you can start your own gardening service. All you really need is a few landscaping tools which you probably already have in your garden shed.
Cleaning: As I said above, cleaning is one of the most annoying tasks to do around the home, that being said, if gardening is not for you, then why not start a cleaning service? They can charge around 30 dollars an hour and you set the hours yourself. Perfect for some extra cash while the kids are at school.
Although I have covered only 3 ideas to make money, if there is only one thing that you take away from this page, that would be to think of a task or job that nobody likes doing and do it for them. With that simple tip, you can make a decent amount of money.
