There is one thing that I have learnt in my entire life and that is, there is no such thing as easy money. If you are on this web page, hoping that I have some secret that will reveal how you can get easy money, well then I am sorry to disappoint you, but there is no secret.
Ok… maybe I have spoken a little too soon. There are two methods that are quite common when it comes to getting easy money, in fact, they are so common that you have probably done them yourself over the years.
The first method is the… parents. You remember those things, you will be amazed how much money you can get from your parents just by asking. The best part is that it is interested free, heck, most of the time if you are only borrowing small amounts of money – less than 100 dollars at time – your parents will usually forget that they have given you any.
The trick is not ask for money too often and too not ask for too much money. Otherwise, they will quickly catch on to what you are trying to do. You also cannot afford to make a big deal out of it, otherwise, they will start paying more attention. So the next time you need some money, try this approach: “Hey Dad, can I have $20?”
Usually, you will find that the answer is yes. If he says no, do not push it. If you try to push it, you will ruin future chances. Just ask again on another day. If you need the money in a short period of time, then you have a problem. I would recommend that you give yourself some time, so in the event that your request for money gets rejected, you have substantial time to ask again.
Over the years, you will be able to get several thousand dollars out of your parents, all by asking.
The next method for easy money is something that I do not recommend and that is government support. Yep, welfare. It would have to be the silly thing in the world, you basically get free money for doing nothing. Now before you get too excited, I remember when I was at university, the Australian Government would pay me around 18 dollars a week to study. That would barely cover my petrol for my car too and from university.
That being said, although you can get some really easy money from the government, it just is not worth it. The amount that you will get is too damn small.
So to conclude this article, there really is no such thing as easy money. If you want money, then you have to work for it. Then again, if you are a beautiful, young woman then you could always marry a rich old man and then hope for him to kick the bucket. That would allow you to get a whole boat load of easy money.
